SYNODEV is a faith based non-governmental organization which impacts the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia catchment area covering entire Northern Malawi and sections of Central Region. It was established in 1993 as the development arm of CCAP Synod of Livingstonia which started as a development committee responding to emerging community needs at Synod level. SYNODEV is registered under the Council for Non-governmental Organisations in Malawi (CONGOMA). The Development Department is governed by a board of Directors that is appointed by the Synod General Assembly. The Synod Secretariat is the trustee of the Development Department.
